Worldview in Greenville, SC

GADC’s Commitment to Fostering a Worldview

The Greenville Area Development Corporation is dedicated to fostering a worldview, one that meets our citizens at their individual points of need. We strive to set an example, cultivating an economically robust environment that acknowledges, safeguards, values and respects every member of our community. GADC promotes collaboration, communication, and embraces the challenges of change to construct a thriving economic ecosystem that encompasses the entirety of Greenville County’s diverse population. Our commitment extends to building a more resilient economy, aimed at diminishing barriers for our workforce and catalyzing increased economic growth.

A Community Working Together Toward Everyone's Success

The foundations of economic success are communication, mutual trust and humility; they’re also the foundations of being good neighbors. Here in Greenville, we strive to be good neighbors to each other. We know that our thriving community is only enhanced by the richness brought by a variety of experiences, cultures, and perspectives. We are a community that loves music, the outdoors, good food and even better conversation. The beautiful spaces we cultivate to support community-building, the arts, and an emerging culinary scene aren’t just beautiful, they’re strategic, rooted in our mission of bringing people together for better relationships and businesses. The community-focused events we host—Artisphere, Fall for Greenville, Juneteenth, Shakespeare in the Park, Salsa at Sunset, last year’s Turkish festival and the beloved annual Greek festival, to name only a few—celebrate our diversity of talents, passions and cultures, and bring a new understanding and appreciation for all members of our community.

Part of our mission at the GADC, and as members of this community, is to support and promote an environment where every individual and business can succeed, because when our neighbors succeed, we all do.

One of our most critical partners is Upstate International, an organization that facilitates the dynamic exchange of cultures, ideas and commerce, bringing more of the Upstate to the international stage. At an impromptu after-work beer or pizza at local business Pangea in Unity Park, you may hear German, Spanish, Korean or any number of languages and accents spoken by happy families walking or cycling by on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The richness and strength of our community is a large part of Greenville’s competitive edge; it’s why people love living here and businesses flock here.

We at the GADC are so excited to be a part of shaping Greenville’s tomorrow.  Please reach out to us with any questions about how we can support your future in Greenville County. We look forward to hearing from you.
