Gender Benders strives to create a safe and supportive space for transgender, gender variant, LGBTQQI, and allied individuals by connecting folks through friendships, providing support through resources, and initiating trans-inclusive community change.

Out & About Upstate is a social organization promoting acceptance for people of all sexual orientations. OAU welcomes all individuals who celebrate diversity to safe and fun local venues enabling the community to interact.

PFLAG (Parents, Family, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) exists to support all LGBT people, their families and friends, to enlighten the public, and to advocate to end. discrimination and secure equal rights. PFLAG GREENVILLE has been active for 20 years here in the Upstate.

Upstate Pride empowers people of all gender expressions and sexual identities by promoting acceptance through education, advocacy and networking. Upstate Pride SC is also dedicated to spreading the word about events that support and uplifting the LGBTQ community in the area.

The Minority Economic Development Institute is a non-profit economic development organization founded in 2007 to serve as a state-wide resource that aims to increase the economic assets of minority individuals and minority-owned businesses. MEDII intends to function in the Upstate from a main location in Greenville, South Carolina. Its goal is to develop and implement programs to increase the per capita income of minorities through several initiatives, including Business Development, Research, Policy, Advocacy, and Education and Training.

Hispanic Business Council is an initiative of the Greenville Chamber, the Hispanic Business Council’s goal is to more effectively assist Hispanic business leaders in business development opportunities and growth to drive economic inclusion and diversity in chamber investment and engagement.

Hispanic Alliance 

Racial Equity and Economic Mobility (REEM) was formed to identify and address systemic racial barriers, inequalities, social justice and opportunities in Greenville County. The group works collaboratively with community partners to develop systems-level, meaningful solutions in the areas of income and wealth, criminal justice, education/workforce development, health and wellness, and communitywide learning

Minority Business Accelerator  is a Greenville Chamber’s Diversity & Inclusion initiative program designed to advance economic inclusion. As one of the Greenville Chamber’s principal economic development initiatives, the MBA has been established to serve as a catalyst to drive a positive community economic impact, by increasing the overall capacity of locally-based high potential MBEs located within the market area.

Community Works Women’s Business Center 

Upstate Warrior Solutions is a community-based, nonprofit organization serving warriors and their families in the Upstate of South Carolina.
