The Greenville Area Development Corporation, the county-chartered organization charged with promoting and enhancing the economic growth of Greenville County, has added Lucy Jacobs as an intern for the spring of 2023.
Ms. Jacobs is tasked with supporting the GADC staff in research and marketing tasks including updating office and industrial property databases, demographic data, and market insights. Additionally, she will assist with updating website content and marketing collateral for use in business attraction and retention.
Ms. Jacobs joins the GADC team from Clemson University, where she is a student in the Corporate Master of Business Administration program. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration, also from Clemson, and has prior work experience in human resources, research, and marketing.
Lucy most recently worked as a Marketing Intern with a professional search and recruitment firm where she handled social media marketing, website design, and branding initiatives. She also interned with a major Upstate automotive manufacturer in Human Resources, focusing on data analytics and workforce solution topics.
“We anticipate a revitalized research and marketing initiative that will give us a competitive edge,” said Kevin Landmesser, GADC Senior Vice President. “We are excited to have Lucy as part of the team. Her diverse skillset should prove to be an asset for GADC.”
