The Greenville Area Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2001 by Greenville County Council. We are a leader in economic development for Greenville, providing support and resources to businesses of all sizes and helping to create a vibrant and thriving business community. We act as a liaison between the business community and local government and work closely with government officials and agencies to ensure that the needs and concerns of businesses are heard and addressed.
The GADC offers a wide range of resources to support the economic growth of the area. These resources include educational and legislative programs, strategic research tools, and business development consulting services. Our marketing efforts around the country and worldwide shine a spotlight on Greenville, SC and its pro-business environment. We collaborate with the executives of new and existing businesses, site selection consultants, community leaders, government agencies, and others to generate business, jobs, and investments within our community. The GADC is the only organization at the local level with authority to negotiate property tax incentives for new and growing companies. Other GADC efforts include supporting infrastructure development to improve access to businesses throughout the community and enhance the region’s economic prosperity.

The GADC is seeking a collaborative and results-driven Project Manager to lead efforts in attracting new businesses and supporting the retention and expansion of existing industries within Greenville County. This role is key to advancing our organization’s mission by serving as a liaison to business and government entities, coordinating site visits, negotiating incentives, and providing critical insights into community resources, taxes, and growth opportunities.
