This investment of $5 million will create 85 new jobs over the next several years, further solidifying the region’s status as a hub for advanced life sciences and regenerative medicine.
Samaritan Biologics’ new 11,000-square-foot facility, located on Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) campus, will feature five state-of-the-art clean rooms designed to process human cellular tissue products. The company’s focus on developing innovative, best-in-class products for wound care, surgical applications, and limb preservation will be enhanced through this expansion, leveraging Greenville’s growing reputation in medical technology and research.

Over the next few years, Samaritan Biologics will be actively hiring for a range of roles, from executive leadership to specialized technical positions, offering opportunities in quality management, regulatory affairs, and tissue processing. The available roles include President of Operations, Manufacturing Manager, Director of Regulatory, Director of Quality, Quality Engineers, and Tissue Processing Technicians. These positions will be instrumental in supporting Samaritan Biologics’ mission to develop biologics and allograft products that meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers and patients. By expanding its workforce in Greenville, Samaritan aims to foster local innovation and support the broader community’s economic growth.

Samaritan Biologics is set to establish its facility within Flex Lab One, a new multi-tenant building at the 250-acre CU-ICAR campus in Greenville. Flex Lab One represents the first expansion of CU-ICAR into a new Technology Neighborhood.
