GREENVILLE, SC | July 17, 2024 – Fenecon International GmbH, a German producer of energy storage systems, has announced its first North American manufacturing location and headquarters, to be established in Greenville, SC. The $3 million dollar investment will create 68 jobs in Greenville County.
Fenecon is committed to climate protection and energy independence. They develop advanced systems to store and manage electricity for residential, commercial, and industrial use. Recognized as a leader in battery storage technology, Fenecon’s products provide businesses with robust power management solutions, addressing infrastructure challenges and paving the way for a sustainable energy future.

The state-of-the-art 136,000 sq ft facility, located near I-85 at 315 Tanner Price Way, will produce their flagship energy storage solution, the Industrial L, for the American commercial market. This product is designed to provide “every American business energy freedom,” according to Goesswein.
